   I've bought smart plugs (both full size and mini-plugs) from 2 other companies previous to buying these Avatar Controls. Those previously plugs were twice the price of these Avatar Control plugs. I'm kicking myself now because these plugs set up seamlessly, allow the kind of on-off scheduling that I need and have been reliable. The Avatarapp is simple to navigate and it presents the information I need to see clearly on the very first screen, no scrolling through menu after menu to find what I need. I was able to activate these plugs on my Amazon Echo Dot, too. Avatar Controls has provided everything that I want in a smart plug for a fraction of the cost. I plan on buying a few more just to have on-hand in case I need them. I'll probably also use them as stocking stuffers for family and close friends this Xmas.
